Below are the release notes for each version of RealWear Explorer.
The main screen has been updated to a new design to match the updates to the HMT-1.
RealWear Explorer now supports both Android 6 and Android 8.
RealWear Explorer outputs logging data to a file for assisting support cases.
When entering presentation mode, all other UI elements are removed and the HMT-1 stream is shown full screen.
When connected to RealWear Cast it is now possible to fully control the HMT-1.
When connecting a HMT-1 RealWear Explorer will help update RealWear Cast to the latest version.
It is possible to set the framerate for RealWear Cast in the options screen.
It is now possible to use RealWear Cast over USB as well as over WiFi. When the device is connected using USB RealWear Explorer will attempt to connect to RealWear Cast rather than ADB.
The RealWear Explorer application is now signed for both Windows and Mac.
RealWear Cast provides a faster way of mirroring the screen from your HMT-1. By using WiFi to connect to the HMT-1 it is now possible to stream at up to 30 frames per second.
A new presentation mode has been added which allows RealWear Explorer to be run in full-screen mode.
RealWear Explorer now comes with Java build into the package. This means there is no need to install Java separately and RealWear Explorer will always have the supported version available.
The version of ADB that is provided with RealWear Explorer has been updated to version 1.0.40.
